Where Petals of Vengeance Bloom novel Chapter 527

The matriarch’s eyes narrowed in sudden concern.

“Amara, do you know this man?”

Amara shook her head. “No, I don’t. I’ve never seen him before. That’s why I thought he was a kidnapper. I told the school security guards, and they took him to the police station.”

Only then did the old lady finally relax, letting out a breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding.

“That’s good, that’s very good. Amara, you did exactly the right thing. If the family car isn’t there to pick you up, you must never go off with a stranger.”

“Don’t worry, Nana, I know. Mom and Dad have told me that a hundred times.”

Even though Amara was safe, Aberdeen still felt a chill running down her spine.

Who would dare try to abduct a Foster child in broad daylight? Just what kind of person had the nerve to pull this stunt?

This couldn’t be left alone.

Without hesitation, Aberdeen dialed Sean’s number and relayed everything that had happened at school.

Sean’s expression darkened instantly.

His wife and daughter were his only weakness—the one thing anyone would be insane to threaten. Someone had tried to take his daughter? Unforgivable.

He dropped everything and drove straight to the police station.

When Sean arrived, he found Ethan in the middle of an argument with the officers.

“I keep telling you, I’m not a kidnapper! I’m Amara’s real uncle,” Ethan was trying desperately to explain.

That was the moment Sean walked in.

Their eyes met across the room.

“So, it’s you,” Sean’s voice was icy. “Ten years behind bars wasn’t enough for you? Now you’re eyeing my daughter?”
