Sienna choked back tears as she haltingly explained the situation.

Everyone knew about the Montgomery family. Mr. Eugene, the black sheep of the family, wasn't favored by the elders. He had been sent away from the family estate at a young age to live on his own, raised under the care of nannies and housekeepers.
