It seems feasible to leverage our well–established hotel brand with a five–year track record domestically and make waves in the international market.” 

“But let’s face it. When natives travel abroad, they’re drawn to the international hotel chains with big reputations! Would you seriously opt for a mid–tier hotel brand that’s pushing its way out from the States?” 

“What would be the point of the WL Group’s strategy over the years and acquiring all those renowned international hotels?” 

Brian sat silently, listening to his team’s endless debate. 

The discussion continued for a while until they noticed Brian’s expressionless gaze fixed on them, and their voices started to fade slowly. 

When Brian was silent for an extended period, it was a telltale sign of brewing trouble. 

The team exchanged nervous glances, no one daring to speak another word.

“Is Max not in today?” Natalie asked as she packed her backpack, softening her expression before turning to Dave. 

“He’s been out for the last few days. But he wanted to see you when he heard you were back,” Dave replied with a smile. 

King and Max had known each other since they were kids and shared a close bond. When Natalie joined the Truth Group, King had specifically asked Max to personally train her in martial arts. 

Regal Reavers, unknown to many, were backed by King himself. Joining the Regal Reavers was Max’s way of testing Natalie, and she had indeed lived up to his expectations. 

“I might need to stay in the country for a while, so there’s no rush. I’ll wait for him to wrap up his current affairs, Natalie said with a smile. 

At the sight of Natalie in a hurry to leave, Dave asked. “Why not take a break here? Are you going back?”

During Natalie’s last visit to Bluestar, Nina had mentioned Max countless times. Natalie knew it was because of Max’s handsome looks, his gentle nature, and his patience with Nina. It would be strange if Nina didn’t like him. 

After their brief exchange, Natalle said her goodbyes and hurriedly disappeared down the alley. 

Brian stood at the door, silent, lingering his gaze on the disorderly pile of shoes Natalie had left at the entrance. 

The room was eerily quiet, devoid of any sound. He reached out, gently turned the doorknob, and pushed open the door. 

The moon tonight shone brightly. Its light spilled through the half–drawn curtains onto the bed. 

Natalie and Nate’s faces were close together, both breathing evenly, deeply asleep. 

Brian stared at Natalie’s peaceful sleeping face for a long moment before quietly exhaling a sigh of relief. 

He had come back to verify whether she was indeed Azure. If so, she would undoubtedly also be a member of FireWing.
