If he didn’t want to think about the future, what was the harm in her indulging just once? 

Brian’s eyes were bloodshot with intensity as he ripped off his shirt and tossed it aside. His kisses, tender yet relentless, showered upon her. 

He enveloped her in his arms, letting the warm water cascade over her skin, washing her inch by inch. 

Brian grabbed a towel from the rack, wrapping her up with careful hands before stepping out of the bathtub. Unable to control themselves, they collapsed onto the nearby couch. 

Natalie felt his grip was so forceful, his kisses so deep that she struggled to breathe, and she couldn’t help but whisper his name, “Brian…” 

He teased her, his breath a whisper in her ear. “Call me Bri.” 

With her eyes half–closed, Natalie bit her lower lip hard. After a moment, blushing, she called out softly, “Bri…” 

Outside, Madelyn was about to knock on the door. 

She knew Brian was furious this time. He never laid a hand on women and hadn’t struck Natalie even when Natalie had drugged him in the past, conspiring with Audrey to bring the Howard family to ruin. But he had hit her. 

Madelyn intended to apologize first. If she humbled herself, Brian would forgive her for Robert’s sake. 

Her hand was about to knock when she suddenly heard noises from inside. She froze, and the people with her also heard. 

Natalie’s face flushed with a deep blush. 

Benjamin had said he would be there soon, but Brian didn’t care about that. He led Natalie back to the bedroom. 

She watched him standing at the edge of the bed, his gaze intense as he stared at her, and she 

frowned. “Brian…” 

Before she could finish her words, Brian’s kiss silenced her. 

Natalie let out a soft gasp. 

Madelyn stood pale–faced at the door. It was clear Brian and Natalie were inside, and Brian would never believe her again. 

“Madelyn, go change. Have something to eat…” someone at her side said softly, seeing the tears brimming in her eyes. 

Madelyn remained motionless at the door for a long time. She felt that Brian and Natalie were
