Aura suddenly looked up. She met with Joshua’s rather cold gaze. She panicked a little.
“Joshua, what do you mean by that?“
“Nothing.“ Joshua’s voice was low and icy. “ Remember. I am your brother-in-law, Nellie’s father.“
Then, he flung Aura’s hand aside. He looked at Luna behind coldly. “Continue.“
Luna bit her lips and continued, “I thought that after the Ferris Wheel incident was over, that would be it, but I did not expect that when I brought Nellie back to my house, another accident happened. Nellie and I were trapped in the room. Someone set our house on fire.
“If it were not for… Mr. Lynch who came in time to rescue me, Nellie and I would not be standing here celebrating Granny Lynch’s birthday.“
Upon her words, Adrian frowned hard and looked at Joshua. “Is that true?“
Joshua said nothing. Adrian then turned to look at Granny Lynch. “Mom, do you know about this?“
Granny Lynch was a little stunned. “I… know of the fire, but…“
She did not know that Aura was the main culprit of the fire! Although she was old, she still knew right from wrong.
If she knew that Aura was the one that sent people to set the house on fire, she would never have let her go so easily, let alone accept her gifts!
Adrian snickered. “It looks like all of you knew.“
Adrian walked over to Granny Lynch and took Nellie away from her, carrying her in his arms. “One is Nellie’s father, the other Nellie’s great- grandmother. After Nellie almost died in the fire, not only did none of you deal with the perpetrator, you even treated her as a guest, inviting her to your birthday banquet ! Was this the work of you two?“
Then, Adrian looked at Luna. “You’re worse than a servant! “
Granny Lynch could not take the insult. She immediately defended herself. “I did not know. How could I possibly know? I only knew that she was Joshua’s fiancée. I never thought that she would want to harm Nellie! Also…“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
