Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1281
The driver froze in shock upon hearing Nigel’s words.
The factory manager, too, was rendered speechless by him.
Was he…truly a six—year—old boy?
Nigel frowned when he noticed how puzzled the driver was, staring at him. “What’s wrong?“
He glanced at the cut cables and explained, “The wires were cut so haphazardly. It’s clear that whoever did this didn’t have much experience, so they failed to cut through them entirely the first try. Therefore, they had to cut it a second time.
“Someone as inexperienced as this wouldn’t have thought to wipe their fingerprints off.“ With that, he turned to glance at the driver. “Don’t you know how to extract fingerprints, Mr. Driver? Why don’t I do it myself?“
The driver froze for a long while, then hastily let out an awkward cough. “I —I know how! “
He quickly crouched down and did as Nigel told while thinking to himself, ‘Young Master Nigel is undoubtedly Joshua Lynch’s son… He’s only six, yet he’s far more level-headed and detail-oriented than most adults!’
As soon as Nigel instructed the driver to extract any fingerprints from the brake cables, a red Ferrare zipped into the factory area.
Bonnie stopped the car and immediately leaped out of it. “Nigel, Nellie! Are you okay?“
She stormed over and pulled the two children into her arms. “I’m sorry I was late! “
Bonnie’s grip on them was so tight that Nellie could not breathe. The two of them released themselves from Bonnie’s grasp.
Bonnie gave each of them a once-over and, after making sure they were fine, let out a sigh of relief. “ Thank God you’re okay. If you injure yourself in any way, I don’t know how to explain this to your Mommy.“
With that, she seemed to recall something and turned to glance at Nigel and Nellie, her eyebrows raised questioningly. “By the way, what are the two of you doing here? Where’s Joshua and Luna?“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
