Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1290
Aura let out an exhale and said, “Actually, the antidote isn’t with me. I need my sister…my friend, to send it over.“ She lowered her head to glance at the time and calculated before adding, “It’ll need about three days.“
With that, she snaked her arm around Joshua’s and fixated her wide eyes on him. “Even though the antidote will only be here in three days, I have some medication that can help ease Granny’s symptoms. Should we bring it to the hospital for her?“
Joshua went silent for a moment, then smiled and patted Aura on the head. “Sure.“
This scene pained Bonnie and the three children. The four of them exchanged glances and seemed as though they wanted to say something, but they could not.
After all, they could not reprimand Joshua and tell him that he should not save his grandmother, could they?
After a long pause, Bonnie said in a husky voice, “ Neil, let’s send you back to the hospital. Theo can’t find you, and he’s worried sick.“
Neil shot Joshua a meaningful glance but said nothing and, instead, rolled away in his wheelchair. Nellie and Nigel followed him.
Finally, Bonnie let out an exhale and stared at Joshua, who had his arm around Aura. “Luna made me promise her not to argue with you or disturb you, so I’ll keep my mouth shut from today onward, but I don’t believe that Luna can’t be saved without Aura’s antidote. There must be another way, and I’m going to find it.“
With that, she turned around and left.
Joshua stared at Bonnie’s retreating figure with a dark expression.
Meanwhile, Aura clutched onto his arm and said in a sweet voice, “Joshua, do you think we should tell Granny Lynch about the good news that I’m pregnant? This will surely make her extremely happy.“
Joshua glanced at her, frowning. “Do you think this news will make Granny Lynch happy? She already knows you’re part of the Landry Family.“
Aura’s smile froze on her face.
With that, Joshua stood up and continued, “Let’s wait for the antidote to arrive and let Granny Lynch fully recover from the poison. That’ll make her accept you. Let’s put a hold to this, and we’ll tell her this news sometime down the road.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
