Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1313
Joshua’s deep voice carried a twinge of arrogance. It made Adrian and Michael both shudder. Everything went silent for a moment inside the room.
Adrian was the first to finally regain his composure. He forced out a smile and said, “You’re kidding, right, Joshua? No matter what, Celia is your aunt, my wife, and Michael’s mother… She didn’t do anything harmful, so why did you send her to the police station?“
Joshua crossed his arms around his chest and swept his cold glance over Adrian’s wet clothes. “Where have you been?“
Adrian let out an awkward smile. “I…I…I didn’t go anywhere.“
Joshua did not reply and, instead, just stared at him coldly.
Joshua’s aura was so strong and domineering that it seemed to suffocate the people around him.
Adrian was so nervous that he started shaking. He followed Joshua’s gaze, which was locked on his clothes, and immediately replied, “Just now, I… Just now, I accidentally fell into a man-made lake.“
Joshua curled his lips into a smirk and fixated his penetrating stare on Adrian. “I mean before that. Where were you when Celia held a knife to Neil’s neck and threatened Granny Lynch to give her the antidote to save your useless son?“
Adrian was stunned by Joshua’s words.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
