Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1376
“I want to calm down for a while.“
With that, Luna turned around and entered her room, slamming the door shut behind her.
Luna lay down on the bed and stared at the ceiling as tears streamed down her face, wetting her pillows in the process.
Luna had told Joshua about her promise to marry Malcolm before. In fact, she had told him about it many times.
Just the day before she was kidnapped, she and Joshua were cuddling in bed when she hugged his back and whispered into his ear, “What do you think I should do about my marriage promise with the Quinn family? Do you want to go with me to the Quinn family to apologize to them? I’m worried they might kidnap me and force me into marriage. If that happens, what should we do?“
At that moment, Joshua had turned around and pinned her down on the bed. “Do you think the Quinn family will dare take you away and force you to marry Malcolm while I’m here?
“On the other hand, I’ll never forget about the kindness that the Quinn family showed to you and the kids in the past. Once I’m done with my work, I’ll visit them to thank them as well.“
As soon as she recalled this, Luna could not stop her tears from falling.
What happened to the promise he had made?
Joshua knew perfectly well what the Quinn family’s plan was for kidnapping her after Malcolm’s accident, yet he did not come to find her.
Not only that, but he even made her wait.
Luna had to wait until he was finished dealing with the Landry family first before coming to get her.
In a week’s time.
How ironic.
Yesterday, Granny Quinn had told her that she would only give Luna a week’s time to decide whether she wanted to marry Malcolm or not, but today, Joshua wanted her to wait for another week.
Luna closed her eyes, and a self-deprecating smile played on her lips.
She had been through so much hardship and turmoil before finally knowing that she was the most important woman in Joshua’s heart, the love of his life.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
