But if Joshua pursued Luna, things would be different. Even if Mommy still refused to expose her true identity, the two of them would have a chance to hit it off! With this thought, the little girl reached out her hand carefully and tugged at her father’s sleeve again. “Daddy, just try. I can help you! “
Joshua smiled helplessly, shaking his head. “No.“
“Why not! “
Nellie bit her lip, glaring at him unhappily, “Are you worried you’ll forget you’re just acting and really fall in love with Aunty? So, your love for Mommy is so weak after all! Then I won’t help you persuade Mommy to come back! You yourself don’t believe that you’ll always love her, why would she come back! You’re not even willing to put on an act with Aunty, you don’t really love Mommy after all! You don’t really want me to reunite with her! “
Joshua was quiet. “ ..“
Facing the unreasonable little girl, suddenly, he was at a loss of how to react.
He sighed, pouring himself another glass and emptied it. “I’ll consider it.“
Nellie bit her lip, watching him gulp down the wine, feeling displeased. “Daddy, it’ll work! Trust me! I promise you won’t regret it!“
Looking at her eyes, filled to the brim with bright expectation, Joshua frowned slightly. “Daddy will consider it.“
If she suggested he pursue another woman, one with who he had no relations, and not Luna, maybe he would agree without hesitation. But Luna…
Looking at the woman on the bed who almost drove him crazy a few times, a helpless smile hung on his lips.
He did not trust himself not to fall for her. Very soon, the bottle of wine was empty.
The wine that Nellie brought him was the bottle with the highest alcohol content available at home. No matter how good his tolerance was, after downing it so quickly, he would not be able to withstand its effects. After another three glasses, he could not take it anymore. He massaged his temples, soothing his headache, and leaned on the bay window. “Nellie, is that all?“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
