Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1388
Despite that, Joshua still recalled what Luna had said about him prioritizing his revenge over her.
Joshua let out an exhale and said, “Luna, you must have misunderstood me… To me, you’ve always been more important than my vengeance. I…
“I—I’ve always wanted to bring you home as soon as I can, but I knew that if I didn’t defeat the Landry family, I couldn’t see you at all— “
“That’s enough! “ Luna interjected, her tearful eyes etched with coldness. “What do you mean, you can’t see me without defeating the Landry family?
“Joshua, what kind of weird excuse are you going to come up with to explain that you don’t care about me at all?
“I’ve told you from the start that I’m at Quinn Mansion and that I was kidnapped by the Quinn family back to Merchant City! You’ve arrived in Merchant City for so long, yet you’ve never come to find me at all! “
She bit down on her lip and forced out a scornful, self-deprecating smile. “I’ve given you so many chances. I thought you’d take some time out of your busy schedule to find me here, and even if we didn’t manage to meet, I ‘d still feel happy knowing that you cared enough to find me.
“Sadly, Joshua, you didn’t come looking for me at all, not even once!
“You even had time to meet with Heather Landry but didn’t come see me even once.
“Why did you come now, then? It’s because I announced my engagement to Malcolm, I assume. Because of this, you finally realized that I won’t be waiting for you forever and that I won’t stay with you forever. That’s why you came searching for me, isn’t it?“
Luna flung Joshua’s hands away and snapped, “Well, since you chose the Landry family over me, you shouldn’t blame me for choosing Malcolm, the man who cares more about me, over you.“
With that, she turned and strode away.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
