Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1393
“Lucy has already passed away for so many years now, yet you still bring her up all the time. I wonder who’s the one who hasn’t let go of her, Mother?“ Upon Granny Quinn’s interrogation, Samuel curled his lips into a cold smirk and added with an impassive expression, “I guess what lingers the longest is guilt.“
Granny Quinn was so outraged to hear this that she widened her eyes in shock. “You! “
“That’s enough,“ Malcolm furrowed his brows and interjected coldly, seeing that Granny and Samuel were about to get into another dispute. “You haven’t come home in more than ten years now. Did you come home today just to upset Granny?
“Reverend Samuel Quinn, aren’t you here to see Luna and me? Well, since you’ve seen us, shouldn’t you be on your way now?“
With that, Malcolm lowered his head to glance at the time. “The servant told us that you only had time for a cup of coffee, and that time is almost up now. If there’s nothing you want to say with us, please
leave. Pardon me for not seeing you off!“
Samuel’s expression darkened when he heard this. He opened his mouth as though he was about to say something but suddenly caught sight of Luna, who was standing behind Malcolm.
Samuel narrowed his eyes and stared at Luna, curling his lips into a faint smile. “You’re the woman that Malcolm is going to get engaged to tonight, aren’t you?
“Well, since you’re going to become my daughter-in-law in the future, it won’t be too much to ask of you to send me off, will it?“
Luna hesitated for a moment, then finally nodded. “
Alright.“
“Luna! “ Seeing that Luna had agreed, Malcolm immediately grabbed hold of her hand and said, “ You shouldn’t go.“
Luna remained silent for a moment but still removed her hand from Malcolm’s grip. She replied in a gentle voice, “I think I’d better send him out. After all…he is your father.“
With that, she let out an exhale and turned to glance at Samuel, smiling. “Sir, please come with me.“
Samuel narrowed his eyes slightly before finally turning to leave with Luna.
After the two of them left, Malcolm lifted his head to glare at Granny Quinn, icily snapping, “Didn’t I tell you not to let him return ever again?“
Granny Quinn, who had always been feisty and fearless, lowered her head guiltily, like a little bird caught by surprise. “He escaped from the mountains all by himself, and my men didn’t manage to stop him…“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
