Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1398
Malcolm turned his wheelchair around and stared at Luna’s retreating figure, then lifted his hand to summon a nearby waiter. “Keep an eye on her.“
Tonight, Luna was to be his woman, his fiancée!
At the end of the hallway on the second floor was a balcony.
Luna went out onto the balcony and let the night breeze gently graze her face. She told herself repeatedly not to give in.
She could not give in.
Joshua was not worth her forgiving and continuous sacrifice!
“You’re here,“ a female voice suddenly rang out from behind her, pulling Luna’s mind back to reality. Why did this voice…sound familiar?
Luna turned around, frowning.
Behind her was a woman dressed entirely in red. It was Bonnie, whom she had not seen in a long time.
At this moment, Bonnie was leaning against the railing, a cigarette pressed between her lips. She gave Luna a once-over and said, “This is the first time I’ve ever seen you look so beautiful.“
Luna was both surprised and delighted to see her. “ What are you doing here?“
Bonnie rolled her eyes at her. “Didn’t I already send you a message? I came to Merchant City to find my son.“
She breathed out a puff of smoke as she leaned against the railing. “It’s been strange, though. I’ve tracked down every single old, fat, and ugly man in this city, but none of them ever brought a son back here six years ago.
“I suspected that Ms. Jennifer had lied to me, so I told my men to beat her up in Banyan City, but she’s still adamant that my son was taken away to Merchant City.
“She told me that I should broaden my search and investigate every man in Merchant City.“
Bonnie grew more and more irritated as she said this, and she put out her cigarette. “How did she expect me to search?“
With that, she turned and glanced at Luna. “What about you? It’s only been a few days since I last saw you, and now you’re announcing your engagement, but the groom-to-be isn’t Joshua at all.
“What happened between you two?“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
