Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1411
The black Masevati crashed into the garbage dump with a loud slam.
The cars that had been chasing after it zipped closely behind in the rain, the men inside watching as the Masevati tumbled a few times into a gigantic pile of rubbish.
As soon as the men drove into the entrance of the garbage dump, a few black cars appeared, blocking their way.
The man who came out of the car at the front was none other than Todd, one of the most notorious gangsters in Merchant City.
He pushed the car door open and sneered at the men who were about to chase after Joshua’s car. “I’m taking the man and his car. Tell Malcolm Quinn that if he wants his hands on that man, he’ll have to talk to me.“
Malcolm’s men exchanged nervous glances. They knew they could not afford to get on Todd’s bad side, so they did not dare object.
Instead, they turned around and left.
After watching the cars disappear from view, Todd let out a sigh of relief and ordered his men to pull Joshua out of his car as he picked up his phone. “ Master Landry, I’ve helped you rescue the man you want. Where should I send him next?“
On the other end of the line, Jim was standing next to the second -floor window of Landry Mansion. He gazed out at the pouring rain and let out a small sigh. “I have a small chalet called Swan Lake in the southern part of the city. Send him there, and get two of the best doctors to look after him.“
With that, he furrowed his brows and added, “I’ll give you the money I promised you. Don’t let anyone else find out about his hiding spot.“
Todd chuckled when he heard this. “Don’t worry, Master Landry; I’m very efficient! “
With that, he hung up the phone and, along with some of his subordinates, dragged an unconscious Joshua out of his Masevati and into their car.
“Boss!“ One of his subordinates picked up a soiled jade ring from beneath the car’s wheel and said, “I found this ring underneath his car. I’m not sure if it fell out of his car or if it belonged in the garbage dump itself.“
Todd glanced at the chipped jade ring and frowned. “

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
