Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1421
“Harvey?“
Seeing that Harvey did not reply, June could not help adding, “So what should we do with the jade ring now?“
Harvey rubbed his brows, trying to think of what to do.
Even though he did not know how the jade ring he gave to Bonnie ended up with Joshua…since it was no longer in Bonnie’s hands, he thought it would be best to return it to Jim.
Therefore, he let out a sigh and said, “Um, June, don’t tell anyone about this, but please wash the ring and spray some perfume on it, then place it back in Mr. Landry’s study desk drawer.“
“Alright. “ With that, June hung up the phone, took the ring into the washroom to clean it, then carried it out the door.
As soon as she stepped out the door, she ran into her father, Christopher.
Christopher lowered his head to glance at the ring in June’s hands, then shook his head in exasperation. “ You two, playing with Jim’s stuff again. This is beloved to him; what’ll happen if you break it?“
With that, he took the ring and was about to place it back in Jim’s study when he noticed a chip in one of the edges.
Christopher frowned and brought it up against the light to check on it. As soon as he did this, he noticed something hidden within the ring.
It seemed to be a microchip.
Christopher furrowed his brows and, after warning June to never play with this with Harvey again, surreptitiously placed it back in Jim’s study desk drawer.
No wonder Jim cherished this ring like a treasure and never allowed it to leave his sight. Not only did his late mother leave it for him…but there was even a secret hidden within it.
As soon as he placed the ring back into Jim’s study, Christopher sent Jim a message to tell him that the ring had been found.
After reading the message, Jim tucked his phone away with a frown and strode over to Joshua’s side. He stood next to Joshua and lifted his head to glance at the second-floor window.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
