Anne rolled her eyes at Luna. “Do you think someone who has been single forever, like me, would have something like that at home?”
Luna smiled. “But I heard from Neil that a handsome uncle has been pursuing you recently? “
As soon as she uttered these words, Anne’s face instantly turned red.
“We just… we just got together, we’re not at the stage where I need to use a pregnancy test yet!”
Looking at her blushing face, Luna’s mood instantly improved.
She smiled and turned on the TV with the remote control. Just as she wanted to continue teasing Anne, the doorbell rang.
“Delivery!”
Delivery?
Luna turned and glanced at Anne. “Did you order takeaway?”
Anne shrugged. “It’s for you.” Luna opened the door suspiciously.
The delivery man handed Luna a paper bag. Back in the room, Luna opened the paper bag. “Splatter— “
The item that fell out of the paper bag was exactly what Luna just mentioned, a pregnancy test!
Luna looked at the pregnancy tests that fell all over the floor, stunned.
Compared to Luna who was so shocked that she could not speak, Anne was much calmer.
“When you said on the phone that something happened between you and Joshua last night, I knew it. Although I usually don’t have one in my house, I can buy them for you.”
Luna did not know whether she should laugh or cry.
She picked up the order form, looked at Anne’s name displayed across the page, and sighed helplessly, ” You bought them with your own name. Aren’t you afraid these tests will be discovered by your new boyfriend, and you won’t be able to explain yourself?
Anne curled her lips. Just when she was about to say something, Luna’s phone rang.
It was a call from Neil.
“Mommy.”
His voice drifted in from the other end of the phone, he sounded as if he was sneaking around. “I gave an excuse that I had to go to the bathroom and called you from there.
I almost got caught, the kindergarten teacher almost found my phone! “

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
