Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1437
When Luna finally arrived at Tea Cottage, it was already nighttime.
Bonnie, who was leaning against the couch, leaped up and pulled her into a hug as soon as she saw Luna entering. “You’re okay; that’s great! “
Bonnie had lunged so quickly and forcefully onto her that Luna almost lost her balance. She stumbled and quickly righted herself before asking, “What’s going on?“
“Just now, I saw on the news that there was a gun shooting at Lucky Den, and Malcolm had gotten hurt. I thought that— “
Luna’s entire body stiffened as soon as she heard this.
She lifted her head and glanced at the television screen. The newscaster was announcing the breaking news on the gun shooting at Lucky Den in a cold voice, “The shooting had happened so quickly that by the time everybody came to again, Master Quinn’s legs had already been hurt, and the shooter had fled the scene
“Fortunately, Malcolm Quinn’s legs had been injured in a car accident a month ago, which rendered his legs paralyzed. Therefore, even though
he had been shot, he couldn’t feel anything, and as of now, he’s safe and sound.
“As for the suspect, no one was able to identify the shooter. Because the security cameras in Lucky Den had been deliberately destroyed, we’re only left with an image of the back of the shooter’s head…“
Luna furrowed her brows and stared at the image of the shooter on the screen.
The man was dressed entirely in black and even had on a pair of sunglasses. It was difficult to discern whom it was solely based on a picture of his back.
However, Luna knew immediately who the shooter was.
She knew this man like the back of her hand, so much so that she could identify him by the image of his back.
Her heart sank.
“Rumors are circulating about the shooter’s motives behind all this. Some people say that he suspected Master Quinn’s legs weren’t paralyzed at all, so he shot him to prove his point…
“Some people say that the killer wasn’t aware of Master Quinn’s condition at all…“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
