“Even if I can’t, are you in the mood to discuss business now?“
“Room number f or, I leave it up to you! “
With that, he turned around and almost flew as he rushed downstairs.
Looking at his retreating back, Luna sighed faintly.
To be honest… she was quite envious of a relationship like this.
Even though John still left her a bad image, but he could not pay attention to his work because of Anne, he was even willing to forgo making new business to go see her.
And what about she, herself?
The person she liked the most when she was younger, his career always came first, regardless of whether she was sick and having a fever or lonely and helpless.
In his heart, she was nothing compared to his work, his career, and even lesser when compared to Aura.
She remained in the stairway for a little while longer, then after Luna organized all the frenzy and messed up thoughts in her head, she sucked in a deep breath, turned and returned to the corridor.
The corridor that was packed just a moment ago was now empty.
One of John’s colleagues passed by her, frowning as he asked, “Where’s John?“
“He’s busy.“
Luna raised her lips in a smile and walked along with that colleague. “Actually I ‘m not his girlfriend, I’m his sister. There’s an emergency at home so he had to rush back.“
The colleague blinked in surprise. “Then the dinner appointment later…“
She curled her lips in a lovely smile. “I’ll attend on his behalf.“
The colleague paused in his tracks and studied her quickly. “We push ourselves to the limit when we need to drink to socialize and discuss, as a woman, aren’t you afraid you’ll get drunk?“
“Not only will I remain sober, I will even secure the deal for your company.“
“You sound confident, okay then, follow me, if you get drunk and something bad happens, don’t blame me for not reminding you.“
Luna nodded, and followed the colleague into the room.
Before she came out of the stairwell, she had already taken a pill for her hangover.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
