The moment the words left his mouth, the entire room fell silent.
Everyone’s gazes flitted dumbly to Luna and Joshua.
The meaning behind his words was obvious. Luna just said the last man she slept with was ugly, dirty, and sick, and Joshua oh-so suddenly asked her what sickness he had…
Director Wilson took a step back in shock. “Mr. Lynch, you… You must be joking, right?“
Everyone in the entire Banyan City knew Joshua Lynch was a clean and upright man, loyal to his ex-wife Luna Gibson.
When she was still alive, he never attended any drinking events where women were present because he was worried she would get the wrong ideas. After she passed away, he drank so much to the point his stomach bled. Plus, to protect her sister, he remained engaged with Aura for many years.
At the birthday party two days ago, he even announced that he got word Luna Gibson was still alive, so he wanted to break off the engagement with Aura and look for Luna Gibson.
The past few days, the entire internet had been discussing his deep-seated love and loyalty for his ex-wife, yet all of a sudden, this man would admit in
front of so many people that he slept with this woman?
Was he sure he was not joking?
“I’m not joking.“ Joshua raised his lips in a faint smile and pulled Luna into a hug. “I heard someone was trying to make a move on my woman just now?“
His woman.
The moment these two words left his mouth, the air in the entire room exploded.
Everyone looked as if they had just seen a ghost.
They wanted to discuss this piece of news with each other so badly, but they dared not to as they struggled to keep their urge at bay.
The various changes in Director Wilson’s expression were even more fun to watch as it shifted from anger, to confusion, then to horror.
A short moment later, he finally found his voice, “Mr. Lynch, that’s not what I meant… I was just…just cracking a joke with Ms. Luna…“
“You should just leave your jokes for your wife.“ With that, he raised his lips in a faint smile and said toward the man behind him. “This is your staff? I ‘m surprised.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
