Luna’s anger still sizzled in the pit of her stomach as she stepped out of the taxi. It was by chance that she saw Neil sitting near the flower bed at the entrance to their housing area, seemingly talking on the phone.
She frowned and approached him. “Why aren’t you home?“
The little boy shrugged. “Godmother and her boyfriend are acting all sweet and lovey-dovey. I don’t want to be the third wheel.“
With that, he glanced at Luna silently. “Mommy, do you want to go upstairs and be the third wheel?“
Luna was mum for a moment before she cleared her throat. “How long have they been up there?“
“Around half an hour.“
Neil sighed. “Mommy, do you think we can still spend the night at Godmother’s house tonight? I saw her crying in her boyfriend’s arms just now, and both of them were laughing and crying.“
He switched to a more comfortable position and swung his short little legs in the air. “Are dating adults so emotional?“
Luna rolled her eyes at him. “You won’t understand.“
Anne and John had just gotten together and they almost broke up, but the misunderstanding was solved. Dating couples were more emotional, and Luna could understand that.
Alas… Luna was reminded of her own situation.
When she was with Joshua, she never experienced such drastic emotional changes like this. They never argued.
More accurately, he found it below him to argue with her.
He would retract his claws and follow her opinion when he was in a good mood, but would leave her in the large, empty house to reflect on her mistakes when he brooded.
“I genuinely don’t understand the emotions of dating adults,“ Neil sighed. “I’m tired, though. I really am, Mommy. I still have to attend kindergarten tomorrow with that group of childish little kids.
“It’s almost nine at night now. I have to have at least eight hours of quality sleep every night! “
Luna rubbed the spot between her eyebrows helplessly.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
