Luna arrived home from the hospital. As soon as she sat down, however, she received a call from Nigel.
“Mommy, I’ve managed to confirm the address. The IP address that Aura used to contact Grandma seems to be coming from a hospital. I’ve sent you the location of the hospital, “ said Nigel over the phone.
Luna glanced at the address Nigel sent. It seemed to be a mental institution located on the outskirts of Banyan City.
‘Is it true that Aura hasn’t been sent abroad to Ausland? ‘ Luna thought to herself. ‘Since she was still in Banyan City, why did Joshua fake the news that she went abroad? He even went to the extent of forging photographs and footage of Aura landing in Ausland. Was it simply because he wanted to find an excuse for her sudden disappearance? Why did he imprison her then, and in a mental institution, no less?’
More and more questions surfaced in her mind. ‘Did Joshua imprison Aura because he wanted her to pay the price of trying to hurt his child? If so, why did he not report her to the police or just punish her instead? Why did he choose to imprison her? What is this man up to?’
“Everything points to the possibility that my father found out what my Aunt Aura did, and is trying to teach her a lesson,“ said Nigel. On the other end of the line, Nigel’s brows tightly together as he frowned, fingers fluttering across his keyboard.
After a while, he added, “I just hacked into the hospital’s backend system. According to the system records, Aura was taken away and imprisoned the night of Granny Lynch’s birthday party. If my calculations are correct, Aura was sent into the hospital almost immediately after the party ended.“
Luna frowned at that. If Joshua had sent Aura into the mental institution as soon as Granny Lynch’s birthday party ended, then he must have made up his mind to do so during the party itself.
Luna shut her eyes and tried to recall Joshua’s actions the night of the party. She could picture his stony, determined face as clearly as if he stood right before her.
The night of the party, everything he did and all the words he said were in Aura’s favor. Why did he act that way if, all the while, he had planned to imprison her?
‘This man truly is an enigma,’ Luna thought to herself.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
