Chapter 1778
Sporting a cap and mask, Charlotte stood at the entrance of the mansion. She looked up at the magnificent building and felt a lump in her throat.
“I’m back.”
She was finally back. It had been six years.
Back then, she was Jim’s fiancee, and she was about to be one of the most powerful people in the Landry family.
However, after a test, she found out that she was infertile. To force Jim to marry her as well as cover her inability to have children before the marriage, she set Jim up. While he was with her on a business trip to Banyan City, he got the woman pregnant with his child.
Things took a turn for the worse for Charlotte then when she completely ruined herself due to recklessness.
No matter; she was finally back to the Landry Mansion.
Charlotte took a deep breath, smiled, and looked at the view in front of her. “I’ll get the things I want this time,” she muttered to herself silently.
At that moment, Luna, by the side, turned to look at Charlotte. “Let’s go.”
The butler had found an excuse and got Mickey drunk. All Luna needed to do was take Charlotte straight into the warehouse with Mickey’s signature.
Luna had just hung up when the butler, reeking of alcohol, brought the permission slip into the mansion.
Charlotte hid.
The butler passed the slip and a bottle with an unknown liquid to Luna.
“Ms. Luna, you have to remember that you can only take one bottle and substitute it with this. Mickey will take stock of the items in the warehouse from time to time. If he finds out that
something is missing, the consequences will be terrible!
“Someone once entered the warehouse to have a look and stole a bottle. That incident caused all the servants and bodyguards of the Landry family to be replaced, and the house was even renovated once more! No one can find out about you!”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
