Luna’s outfit indeed looked like something a young design intern would wear.
Wesley froze at the sight. For a split second, he could not believe that this woman was the same one who had answered the door a few minutes ago.
“Today will be my first day of work, right?“ Luna did not seem to notice his bewilderment. Instead, she walked down the steps and continued with an air of nonchalance, “Can you please explain the working hours to me? I might have to get off work early because I need to pick up my son from school.“
Following behind her, Wesley was so shocked by her statement that he was tongue-tied. “You…have a son?“ This woman did not look a day over 20. How could she have a son already?
“Of course.“ Luna chuckled. “My son is best friends with Mr. Lynch’s daughter.“
Wesley came to a sudden realization. No wonder this woman, who lived in such an ordinary residential area, seemed to be friends with Mr. Lynch. It was all because of her son.
The two left Luna’s building together and got into Wesley’s car. Throughout the journey, Wesley tried to explain the company’s policies to Luna.
Luna stared out the window and did not seem to be paying much attention, much to Wesley’s displeasure. “Luna, why aren’t you listening? Some of these policies are different from other companies. If you break the rules, your salary will be cut! “ Luna curled her lips into a smile. “I’m listening.“
She still remembered all of the policies that Wesley went through. Many years ago, she had been the one to draw up those guidelines with Joshua, including the benefits provided for female employees such as maternity leaves.
Once, she laid in Joshua’s arms and looked up at him with a grin. “Don’t tell anyone that all of this was my idea, so that everyone will think you’re a caring boss! “
At that time, Joshua had given her a small smile. “Of course I’ll tell everyone, because my employees deserve to know that you’re the caring one.“
Luna had believed him. She thought he would let everyone know that Joshua Lynch’s wife was a kind, considerate lady.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
