Chapter 1785 Met with Courtney’s baffled expression, Joshua calmly said, “Didn’t you find it noisy?”
He side-eyed Courtney and added, “Since you find it noisy, get out.”
At that moment, the driver stopped the vehicle by the side of the road.
Seeing Courtney not moving, Joshua swept her another gaze. “We’re rushing to the hospital. Get out. Don’t waste time.”
Courtney’s face instantly paled upon Joshua’s cold words. She bit her lip, trying to explain herself.
“Mr. Lynch, I was just saying this on your behalf. Don’t you find it noisy? You just returned to Banyan City, and there is so much for you to do that you have to even work on the way. Right now, time is just being wasted because of them…”
Joshua smiled. His deep voice was rather icy as he remarked, “A mother-to-be is bearing the pain and suffering to deliver her child. You can’t feel her greatness, yet you only hear the noise?”
He glanced at Courtney sideways coldly. “And to think that you’re a woman.”
Then, Joshua swept Courtney another glance. “Get out.”
With that, he lowered his head and continued reading the documents in his hand.
Courtney bit her lip. She wanted to say something else, but she was shocked by the powerful and cold aura Joshua emitted that she was at a loss for words.
In the end, she could only bite her lip, took her bag, and got out of the vehicle.
The vehicle moved once more, and Anne was still in immense pain. Initially, because of what Courtney said, she tried her best to be quiet, but as it got on, it was so unbearable that she could not help but start screaming again.
The driver sped up, finally reaching the hospital in the quickest time possible.
Luna had already called beforehand. When they reached the hospital, the obstetricians and nurses were already waiting by the entrance. Anne was pushed into the delivery room.
The lights on the operating sign were on. John clasped his hands together, so nervous that he did not know what to do.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
