Wesley rolled his eyes. “Mr. Lynch claims that his ex- wife isn’t dead and that he’s still waiting for her to return, but it’s been so many years now. I think it’s safe to say that she isn’t coming back anymore.“
He continued, “If in a couple more years Mr. Lynch gets tired of waiting for her and wants to remarry, Courtney will be his first choice for sure! “
Luna’s lips twisted into a smile and said nothing in response. She could not understand why Wesley was so confident in his prediction, yet at the same time, it was not too far-fetched either.
Even if Joshua changed his mind and wanted to marry someone who looked like the past Luna, it was none of her business anymore. The only thing she had in mind was to get pregnant and give birth to Joshua’s child so she could cure Nigel.
While Luna was deep in thought, the elevator arrived on the 18th floor.
Wesley cleared his throat and led Luna into the department. “Hello, everyone, I’d like to introduce you to a new member of our company, “ he announced.
“This is Luna. Our CEO, Mr. Lynch, hired her to be a design intern and assistant. If there’s anything you need, feel free to ask her for help! “ Wesley patted Luna’s shoulder gently. “Please get to know your colleagues.“
With that, he turned around and walked out, leaving Luna to fend for herself.
Shannon McCartney, the department head, gave Luna a dismissive glance and led her to an empty desk. “You can sit here, “ she ordered, tossing a stack of documents onto the desk that sent a cloud of dust flying through the air.
“These are the proposals that the CEO sent back to u s for amendments. I want you to run up to his office and resubmit them to him.“ She gave Luna a smirk before leaving. “Don’t mess this up.“
There was a girl sitting next to Luna’s desk, who appeared to be a university student. She nudged her glasses and whispered to her, “Luna, please be careful. This proposal has been sent back to us five times now, and every single person who submitted it ended up getting scolded by the CEO. Shannon sent you because she’s trying to make things difficult for you.“
Luna gave her a small smile. “Do you happen to have some tissue?“
The girl paused and handed her a packet of tissue papers.
“Thank you.“ Luna wiped the desk clean. Instead of heading up to resubmit the proposal, however, she sat down in her chair. After finding a comfortable position, she opened the file to take a look.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
