It was that one night after work that Luna, out of sheer hunger, groggily got up and unwrapped the box of snacks to munch on.
It turned out that she accidentally unwrapped the gift that she gave Joshua and took a bite on the pen.
She initially thought Joshua would despise the pen, but she did not expect that Joshua would put the pen in his shirt pocket. “A pen with a bite mark. It’s quite special. Thank you.“
He was gentle and kind back then, and she fell hard for him.
From then onward, she would chase after his every step, not caring if anyone objected. She had to marry him.
Luna knew he never liked her once. She thought that she could melt his cold heart with her fervent passion.
Alas, he remained aloof to her feelings.
Luna was perplexed. Only she and he knew the origin of this pen. That meant if he threw this pen away, no one would realize that his love for his ex-wife was fake.
Why had he kept this pen all along? He even used it…
“Ms. Luna.“ Joshua’s voice suddenly brought her back to the present.
Rattled and dazed, she immediately retracted her gaze. “Mr. Lynch, have you finished writing?“
“Yes.“ Joshua inserted the piece of paper into the file. He swept a glance at the pen. “You like my pen?“
She had eyed the pen for a long time.
Luna nodded. She smiled rather embarrassingly. “I didn’t expect your pen would have a bite mark on it.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
