Luna’s words silenced the entire design department. Her colleague’s expressions turned ugly, too.
She was indeed coaxing and praising Courtney yesterday together with Shannon. After all, Courtney was the Design Director’s junior, and they were close to each other.
Luna came out of nowhere; no one knew who she was or what background she had. A person like that was a threat to them!
“I never thought that someone would be proud to be a substitute.“ Shannon leaned against the door to her office as she shot Luna a condescending glance. “ No wonder you’re so arrogant. You have the support of someone that we can’t afford to offend.“
“You know you can’t offend him, too?“ Luna smiled. “Furthermore, Joshua never once said that I’m anybody’s substitute, right? What if I were to say that Joshua actually likes me?“
“You’re lying! “ One of the staff agitatedly pointed at Luna and scolded, “The love President Lynch has for his ex-wife is real! He loved her deeply. He only has her in his heart! “
Luna could not help but chuckle loudly at her words.
Joshua loved Luna Gibson deeply, and that he only had her in his heart, huh?
Luna, as the person in question, did not believe those words one bit.
She tucked her hair behind her ear and smiled
faintly. “How do you know that his feelings for his ex-wife are real? She has left him for six years, and he has been engaged to her sister, Aura Gibson for the past five years. Have you all forgotten about this? He said this was his way to take care of his ex-wife’s sister? Is that so?“
Luna lowered her gaze and tidied her desk while she aloofly spoke, “There’s a lot of ways to take care of her. They don’t have to get engaged. The so-called taking care is just his way to maintain an image of him being deeply in love.“
“Is that so? “Suddenly, a low voice came from the entrance of the design department.
That man’s low voice punctured through the noise of the crowd and immediately into Luna’s ears.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
