Chapter 2224
Jím sat in silence and did not say anything in response. Instead, he clutched Bonnie’s hand tightly in his.
However, the quieter he was, the more outraged Rosalyn became..
She bit her lip and glared at him. “Jim, I don’t know what happened that put you in such a terrible mood.
“Even if she wasn’t pregnant with your child, how can you possibly allow her to chase after you on the highway like that? Don’t you have any basic respect for her? Weren’t you at all concerned about her safety? Weren’t you worried that she couldn’t keep up with you and something bad would happen?
“Thank heavens that the airbag in her car managed to save her life. Otherwise, she would be dead by now!”
Jim lowered his head and gripped Bonnie’s hand tightly.
“I already told her not to chase after me.”
Bonnie had been following him ever since he left Quinn Mansion. Not only did she follow him in her car, but she even rang his phone.
Initially, he had refused to pick up, but in the end… he could not stop himself from taking her call.
The first thing he said to her was warn her not to continue chasing after him, but she had told him she would not give up. She wanted him to know that even if everyone in the world turned their backs on him, she would not give up on him.
If she had said this to him on a regular day, he would have been touched by this, but…
All Jim could think of at this moment was how he had been abandoned by his birth mother.
Bonnie’s words only served as a reminder of this cold, harsh truth.
Therefore, Jim hung up the phone and immediately stepped on the gas. Then, this happened… “So what if you told her not to chase you?” Rosalyn was furious. “She loves you so much that she’ll never give up on you! But you’re blinded to this!”
Rosalyn started patting her chest in an attempt to soothe her anger. “Just because she loves you doesn’t mean you can abuse this! Mickey and the butler have already filled us in on what happened while we were away in Lincoln City after you lost your memories!

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
