Chapter 2249
“When Bonnie will wake up, and what’s her condition like when she eventually does-all of these are information that you’ll only be able to hear from the Landry family.”
With that, Jim turned around and began to walk away.
“If you continue to refuse to become a part of the Landry family on the insistence that you can’t get over your vengeance toward us, feel free to do as you please and bear the consequences.”
Sean’s entire body froze upon hearing this.He was not worried about living together with Jim, nor was he unable to get over his hatred toward the Landry family.
However, the thought of becoming the adopted son of the woman his birth mother hated the most before she died and even living under the same roof as her…
Would his mother be angry at him if she found out?
“Please come with us, Second Young Master.” The butler smiled, seeing that Sean did not object to Jim’s words, and immediately led the way.
However, Sean did not intend to leave.
He stood motionless, staring blankly at the bright red light over the emergency room door, and all of a sudden, he felt a surge of helplessness and sorrow enter his heart. He closed his eyes, let out a sigh, and turned to glance at the butler.
“Alright, I’ll come withyou.”
He did not feel like staying here any longer and being forced to stare at Jim. Even though he had never been afraid of Jim, Sean could not help feeling a little anxious when faced with Jim’s strong, domineering aura.
“Come, come, Second Young Master.” The butler grinned as he led Sean out of the hallway.
” Don’t you worry. With Mrs. Landry’s help, the doctors will be able to find out what’s wrong with Ms. Craig and resolve it as soon as possible. There’s no poison or drug that can escape Mrs. Landry’s eyes.
“Therefore, Second Young Master, you should come home with me, take a shower, and have some food while you wait for the good news.”
Sean nodded in response.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
