Chapter 2271
Joshua furrowed his eyebrows upon hearing Rosalyn’s words, then added impassively, “Don’t send any more of your men to go after Christopher. I’ll take care of this.
“As for June and Harvey, you’ll have to help us take care and comfort them as best as you can. Luna and I are on our way to the church right now. Don’t worry; we’ll take it from here.”
Then, he hung up the phone.
“I’ve managed to track down the taxi Uncle Christopher is in,” Nigel declared calmly as soon as Joshua put the phone down.
“The car is only two blocks away from the church, and judging by the distance, he’ll probably arrive in ten minutes.
“I’ve gotten in touch with the church, and according to them, all of the wedding guests are already seated. Uncle Jim has just gotten his hands on the marriage certificate and is preparing for the ceremony backstage.”
All of a sudden, Neil, who had been watching the wedding live stream on his screen, piped up, “By the time Uncle Christopher arrives in ten minutes, it’ll be the most crucial and most anticipated moment of the wedding, but he’s currently mentally unstable, which means he’s highly likely to commit violence.”
Neil lifted his head to stare intently at Luna and Joshua.
“If he enters the church during this time, he might accidentally hurt the wedding guests, but not only that…”
Nellie, on the other hand, stroked her chin in contemplation and finished her brother’s sentence, “All the guests attending Uncle Jim and Aunt Bonnie’s wedding today are among the most elite members of society, and if Uncle Christopher is to hurt them, it’ll bring a lot of trouble.”
Nigel was the one to conclude their observations.
“Daddy, what you have to do right now is stop Uncle Christopher before he enters the church, but he’s now only two blocks away…”
He lifted his head to stare at his father and continued, “Daddy, how much time do you need to assemble your men and get to the church? I might be able to buy you some time.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
