The doctor spoke timidly, "It wasn't my intention to bother you, but there's a situation that I think I must report to you immediately."
Luke squeezed his brows even harder as he hissed, "Spill!"
His subconscious told him to look in the direction of the garden to check on Gwen.
Through the huge glass window, he saw Gwen sitting with her back facing him in the garden.
She was talking with Luna, and they seemed to be talking about something funny because she was laughing so hard that her body trembled.
Once he made sure that Gwen was unaware of this phone call, he sighed in relief, saying, "Quick.Get to it."
The doctor on the other side of the phone was nearly scared to death.
"Mr.Jones...The thing is that we've just received Ms.Larson's medical report.One of the indicators is too high..."
Luke's brows pressed together.
"One of the indicators is too high? Didn't I already tell you to make sure her body is in a good condition? It's less than a month before the transplant, and you're telling me this now?"
The doctor on the other end of the call could feel Luke's ruthless voice digging into him, and this scared him even more.
Due to this fear, however, the doctor became a stuttering mess, which irked Luke even more.
Seeing that a normal conversation nearly turned into an interrogation, Joshua frowned and took away the phone from Luke.
"Hello, doctor.I'm Joshua.Luke isn't himself now, so you can tell me everything."

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....

Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
