It was rather mean of Luna to chastise the nanny for saying her thoughts as she had said it all with the best intention.
Thus, Luna cast the nanny a gentle gaze.
"What's your name? How long have you been working here?"
Lucas was the one who hired the nanny to look after Shelly and Riley.
Since every nanny was different and the children had their preferences, the nanny in their house constantly changed.
However, Luna vaguely remembered this nanny had been working in the house for quite some time.
"My last name is Flores, Ma'am, but you can call me Mrs.Flores.I've been working for more than a week," answered Flores.
Luna nodded and smiled at her.
"Mrs.Flores, you say? I'll remember that.I'll tell Lucas to give you a raise.You've done a good job."
Flores thought that she had upset Luna, but she was thrilled to hear Luna giving her a raise.
"Thank you, Ma'am.Thank you so much!"
Luna smiled upon seeing how happy Flores was.
Just as she was about to say something, however, the nanny's phone rang.
The phone screen displayed the name [Yannie].
Flores smiled at Luna sheepishly.
"It's time for me to retire for the day, Ma'am.My daughter is calling me to tell me that she's waiting outside."
Luna paused and looked at Shelly, who was still soundly asleep.
"Alright.Hurry up, then."
Flores responded and quickly turned to the maid's room to get the maid who was responsible for the night shift.
"I was just envying how close they are."
She was not envious of Flores but of her daughter instead.
Luna did not have a mother figure around her when she was growing up.Her stepmother from the Gibson family was never there for her and had never loved her as a mother.
Whereas for Rosalyn...
Rosalyn did love Luna a lot, and she, too, felt the love from Rosalyn.
However, it baffled her why she did not feel that strong mother-daughter bond that others have felt.
"You'll have it too,"
Joshua mumbled as he embraced her.
Luna sighed and closed her eyes.
"Butler Fred and Mickey were the most trusted people to my mother other than my father.What is your plan?"

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
