Chapter 2377
"It's not because you don't love Luna, but because you naively thought that my relationship with Luna is so strong that even with this family vengeance between us, I'll still be able to brainwash both myself and Luna into believing our love can overcome all this.
"He strode over, stood next to Luna, and fixed his dark, penetrating stare on Rosalyn's face.
"Unfortunately, Mother-in-law, every grievance should be traced back to its source, and there's no running away from the truth of my grandmother's death.
"We'll never blindly believe your words, even if you insist that you were the one behind this murder."
Rosalyn sighed and glanced first at Luna, then at Joshua.
"I thought ...I thought that if I tried to make my voice sound young again and record it for Butler Fred, I'd be able to help them escape."
Everything that happened that day had been a part of Rosalyn's scheme. She had planned this whole show after Butler Fred and Mickey admitted the truth to her that morning.
Even though what they did was wrong, she understood that they had done this for the sake of the Landry family, and since the Landry family had managed to get back on their feet, she could not possibly be ungrateful for their help.
Even though she had not asked them to poison Granny Lynch, they had indeed committed this crime for her—albeit without her knowledge—and therefore...
Finally, Rosalyn lifted her head to stare intently at Joshua and Luna.
"How did you guys find out?"
"I had gone to Father Samuel for help and asked him for a recording of your old voice."
Joshua curled his lips into a smile as he picked up Luna's phone.
Joshua was the one who had sent Luna the recording of Samuel and Rosalyn's conversation, which she had played on her phone just minutes ago.
The truth was, he had begun to suspect foul play from the moment he heard Butler Fred's recording.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
