"Have you decided to go for it, Master Moon?"
There was a newfound hint of joy in Joey's voice as he exclaimed, "Have you decided to come out of your retirement for this? If yes, I'll get in touch with Thomas Howard's assistant right now!"
With that, he hung up the phone.
Luna remained stunned as she clutched the phone in her hand, listening to the dial tone.
A split second later, she sighed and tucked her phone away.
Just as she was about to lock her phone, however, she received a message from Joey.
[Thomas Howards wants to meet you this afternoon! 1 p.m.at Bamboo House, a restaurant on the west side of the city!] Luna glanced at the time, frowning.
It was already past 11 a.m., so she would be meeting Thomas Howard in less than two hours.
How impatient was this man? The rational voice in her mind was telling her that something was wrong—that Thomas Howard must have had ulterior motives for setting up this once-in-a-lifetime business opportunity.
Luna knew that she should have discussed this with Joshua at a time like this, but...She glanced at the gazebo in the backyard, where Joshua and Jim were seated, frantically making phone calls to their subordinates.
They were already preoccupied with trying to track down Sean and Luke's assistant, so she did not feel like wasting their time with such an insignificant matter.
Therefore, she quickly found an excuse, bade Rosalyn and Charles farewell, then returned to Joshua's house.
While on the way home, she had talked to Neil on the phone about this prospective business venture, so by the time she arrived home, all three of the children were already seated on the sofa, waiting for her.

This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....

Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
