Sean could not help feeling that this woman was after him, and so he did not feel like entertaining her at all.
However, he never thought she would cover for him when Luna questioned him.
Even though he did not know whether she had done this just to get on his good side, he still had to thank her.

Yannie smiled at him and sat down in a nearby chair.
"I know you must've blurted that out on purpose, and I know that Mr.Luke is Ms.Luna and Mr.Lynch's friend.
"If this secret between you and Mr.Luke were to get exposed, it wouldn't be good for any of you, whether it was him, you, or Ms.Luna and Mr.Lynch.
"Since a little white lie on my side is all it takes to hide this, why would I want to tell the truth that would hurt everyone?"
Then, she wiped the sweat from her forehead, which had accumulated from her lying, and added, "You don't have to be so hostile toward me, Mr.Wheeler...I can tell that you really like Ms.Kate.
"Before I came here, Ms.Luna had indeed hoped to matchmake us both, and the truth is, I had been looking forward to this, but for one reason: if you and I were to start dating, it'd allow me to become closer to Ms.Luna.
"However, since your heart belongs to someone else, I won't force you to choose me."
With that, Yannie lowered her head.The truth was, she had no right to force Sean to choose her at all.She was plain -looking with no talent and nothing exceptional to remember her by...so what right did she have to make Sean choose her over someone else? She did not even have the right to mingle with people from the upper class, much less date one of them.
Sean's entire body froze when he heard this.

This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
