Thomas curled up his lips and glanced at his assistant.
"This is the best thing you've said today."
The assistant chuckled awkwardly and lowered his head.The fact was...he and Xander did not lie to Thomas at all.The woman he saw that morning was Yannie! When he saw Yannie for the first time since he was here in Merchant City, he thought she looked familiar.
It was when Xander mentioned that Yannie could be the woman who had slept with Thomas a year ago that it sprung into his mind.
Yannie was that woman! However, since Thomas did not want to accept that fact, he could only keep the truth to himself.On the way to Riley's ward, the three of them continued talking.
When they arrived, the nurse at the ICU requested them to put on clean gowns before entering.They did what they were told as they then entered the ICU, the door closing behind them.
Through the glass window, people from the outside could see the three men were carefully monitoring Riley and talking.
What they did not know was that a woman was hiding behind the door in the stairway of this level, eavesdropping on their conversation.
When she heard them entering the ICU, she carefully sneaked out of the stairway and looked at the ward.
When she saw how concentrated the three men were, she took out her phone to take a photo.
Unfortunately, she forgot to switch off the flashlight.
Flash! The sudden flash startled Thomas, and he quickly lifted his head.

This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
