Chapter 2483
Jim lowered his head to glance at Bonnie, who was lying motionless on the bed with her eyes closed. then turned to glance at Harvey, whose face was plastered with a grin.
“You... You felt it too?”
If this were just a fluke, he and Harvey would not have felt it at the same time, so… Jim‘s excited gaze fell on Bonnie‘s face.
Even though Rosalyn had told him before that Bonnie would only be able to make it to a week, she mentioned that miracles could happen! Was this a miracle? Was Bonnie waking up?
Jim fixated his gaze intently on Bonnie‘s face in an attempt to find traces of her impending wake from unconsciousness, but...
One minute passed, then three.
10, which then became 30.
Finally, an hour passed.
Even until half an hour before the wedding, when Luna, Gwen, and Yannie arrived to help change Bonnie into her wedding dress, there was still no sign of her awakening soon. Bonnie‘s eyes were closed, and her face expressionless.
The hope in Jim‘s eyes seemed to dissipate by the minute, and the gleam in his eyes was eventually replaced by despair.
He gazed longingly at Bonnie as Luna and Gwen wheeled her away.
Could this be the end of him and Bonnie?
A drop of tear slid down his cheek.
Jim always thought he would not cry since he had already mentally prepared himself for this day, but…

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
