Chapter 2514
Malcolm‘s entire body was frozen in shock as though he had been struck by lightning when faced with Joshua‘s cold gaze. His mind was racing with thoughts of how to escape this room. A split second later, he smiled meekly at Joshua and said, “M–Mr. Lynch, how can I possibly dare to use your children like this? “They told me they weren‘t happy with you and Luna…so I risked my life to sneak here to check on them. After all, Nigel, Neil, and Nellie had lived with me for six years, so of course I‘d care about them.
“How can I not come to check on them after they told me that they weren‘t happy with their situation?”
He began taking small steps backward as he continued, “The reason I came here was to talk to them about cutting you and Luna some slack. They‘re children, after all, so they wouldn‘t understand the situation you and Luna are in, but I know that you and Luna care about them just as much as you care about Riley and the lost child. “After all, there is no such thing as favorites to a parent, isn‘t that so?”
Malcolm‘s back pressed against the door, and he surreptitiously snaked his hand backward and tried to open the door. After jiggling the doorknob for a few moments, he realized he had been locked in from outside. A glimmer of despair flashed through his eyes at this realization. It seemed that…he would have to face his fate.
“You‘re right.” Joshua shifted into a more comfortable position in his chair.” Luna and I care about the triplets just as much as we care about Riley and our lost daughter.
“The three of them have never felt neglected by us. The reason they told you that was just to lure you out of hiding.” Joshua lifted his head to glance impassively at Malcolm. “The lemonade that you drank just now…”
Malcolm‘s voice turned cold as his face twisted into a grimace. “That lemonade was poisoned, wasn‘t it?”
He could not believe that even Nellie had picked up on Joshua‘s cunning ways!

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
