Without him, Gwen could start a new life. She would not need to become the gang leader‘s woman. No one would pay her any attention or criticize her, mentioning her past repeatedly to the point it haunted her daily.
With all that in mind, Luke was willing to vanish from this earth. He was willing to sacrifice his all for Gwen. All that mattered was that she was happy and blissful.
She was worth it.
At that thought, Luke sighed and placed the bowl on the short drawer by the side. He walked over to Gwen‘s side once more, reached out, and hugged her tightly.
“I‘ll take care of myself. You have to get well. Listen to the doctor, and recover soon.”
As Luke‘s aura and body warmth enveloped Gwen, she bit her lip and bore through her tears. “I will.”
Gwen lifted her head and looked out of the window, trying not to let her tears fall.
“Luke, I… I’m really happy that I met you.”
“Me too.” Luke closed his eyes and sighed. He reached out his large hand, held Gwen‘s chin, and kissed her passionately. His kiss was fierce and domineering. Gwen, in the past, would have instinctively resisted every time he kissed like this. Although every time it would only result in a longer and deeper kiss, she already had the habit.
However, at that moment of farewell, she no longer struggled. She brought her arms around Luke’s neck and reeled him closer to her. Her hands crossed behind his neck, pulling herself closer to her.
She hugged him tightly, welcoming him.
They kissed each other, lips on lips, as their bodies pressed close.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
