“Three days. Give me three days, and I’ll tell you who Riley’s father is.” Luna paused upon hearing Joshua’s suggestion. Then, she nodded quietly. With that settled, Luna started to worry again.
“Looking at Riley now…I’m worried about our daughter. Do you think she’s alright? Did a nice family adopt her, or…” Luna trailed off before she could continue, unable to stomach any other thought that could lead to negativity. During this period, she was not in a hurry to search for her daughter because she knew how fragile a newborn baby could be.
Since her baby went missing as soon as she gave birth, Luna had no idea about the child’s well-being. She did not know whether her baby was kidnapped as Hunter said or if they were taken away. It had been three months, so the perpetrators should have shown some signs or contacted either Luna or Joshua. However, they did not receive any news or information regarding her baby for the past three months.
In fact, Luna was prepared for the worst-case scenario, which was why she would care about Riley more than her own daughter. She would rather brainwash and convince herself that her baby was alive and being cared for by a nice family than make the effort to search. She was afraid that she would instead come across something horrifying that would devastate her.
This was not the first time she experienced losing her child. The first time was when Neil nearly died during Aura’s reign of terror, and this time, her baby was taken away from her after she delivered her.
Understanding her thoughts and feelings, Joshua held her and sighed.
“Our baby will be fine.”
Contrary to the way Luna tried to convince herself, Joshua thought differently. His men were still on the search for the baby. He could not allow his baby to wander outside, whether the baby was alive or dead.
Meanwhile, at Jim’s house, situated in the city center.
Jim was squatting beside the crib as a troubled expression was present on his face. He was trying to feed Shelly milk with the baby bottle. The baby looked at Jim’s face with her shimmering eyes, but she refused to drink.
“Taking care of this baby is so hard.” Jim furrowed his brow tried to trick Shelly to drink the milk while whining to Bonnie, “It’s very hard, alright.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
