Thomas furrowed his brow and said nothing to Yannie‘s words.
Yannie, assuming that Thomas was considering her logic with his silence, slowly persuaded him, “Thomas, I know you don‘t like Joshua that much, but you can‘t just determine that he‘s terrible because his father was a scumbag and how naive he was when he was five years old.”
No matter how Yannie was reluctant to believe Thomas, she could tell whether Joshua was a scumbag or not. All this time, she knew how Joshua‘s attitude was when treating her mother, Luna, his three children, and Riley.
Moreover… Thomas had been in Merchant City for more than a month. Ever since the first day he arrived, he went after Joshua and Luna, even using being the ambassador of Luna‘s jewelry company to threaten Luna. Despite Thomas‘ challenges and provocation, Joshua did nothing but had Yannie gather Thomas‘ DNA specimens in exchange for payment. Joshua tolerated, understood, and took care of Thomas.
Yannie did not believe a man like Joshua was what Thomas said he was.
“So you‘re saying…” Thomas smirked and looked at Yannie in disdain. “Even after I told you about my aunt, you still don‘t believe me and rather believe in Joshua. Is that correct?” Yannie paused. Obviously, she felt Thomas was upset. She took a deep breath and wanted to explain to him.
“I don‘t mean that. I just think there‘s a misunderstanding between you and Mr. Lynch, so—”
“There‘s no misunderstanding,” interjected Thomas curtly.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
