Chapter 2662 Joshua‘s hand stiffened at the mention of Steven. He was silent for a moment before finally asking, “Gwen... Have you all met Kate‘s boyfriend yet?”
“No, not yet. Why?”
“Nothing.” Joshua rubbed his glabella in frustration. “I couldn‘t help noticing that Kate‘s new boyfriend looks a lot like Luke, so I don‘t think you should let Gwen see him.”
Luna nodded, “You‘re right. Don‘t worry; I‘ll try my best to protect Gwen.”
Even though she had yet to meet Kate‘s new boyfriend in real life, she had seen photos of him and Kate together on the internet. Therefore, even before Joshua brought it up, she already knew that this man looked eerily similar to Luke.
At this point, Gwen would go insane at any mention of Luke at all, so if Kate‘s boyfriend were indeed so similar to Luke, she would have to stop Gwen from seeing him in person at any cost.
“We’ll talk about this more when we meet,” Joshua said before frowning and hanging up.
“What‘s wrong?” Thomas asked, seeing how troubled Joshua looked. “We have to split up.” Joshua glanced at him before adding, “You go retrieve the new pendant while Lucas will bring some of the men over to the dump station.” “What about you?”
Joshua paused for a moment. “I‘ll go talk to Kate.”
Thomas was a little puzzled by this. “Does this have something to do with Kate?” “I sincerely hope not.” Joshua lifted his head to stare coldly in the direction in front of him.” Otherwise, I‘ll never let her off the hook that easily again.”
It was as though, in her mind, staring intently at the garbage pile would prevent her from missing out on the pendant should it appear. Luna and Yannie stood by her side, clutching her dirty hands in comfort. Thomas could feel his chest tighten at this sight. What was so good about Luke that made a woman like Gwen go crazy for hirn?
“Mr. Howard.” Yannie was the first to notice Thomas climbing out of the car. She trotted toward him and, under the pretense of striking up a conversation with him, secretly reached

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
