Chapter 2670
The color drained from Kate‘s face.
From the moment she caught sight of Joshua in her house, she knew that he was here because of Luke and Steven. When she saw how pale her father looked, as well as Joshua‘s declaration, she instinctively knew that Joshua must have found out about everything.
She curled her lips into a forced smile and said with a hint of helplessness. “I never thought Mr. Lynch would be so swift.”
Joshua had only met Steven once that morning, and because of this, Kate thought she would at least have one or two days to be in the clear.
To her surprise, Joshua had managed to piece everything together within 12 hours and even showed up at her door to confront her.
She had always heard rumors about Joshua being a brilliant man, but she had never once witnessed the extent of his intelligence and quick thinking.
This was the first time.

Joshua could not help smirking when he heard this. “I should‘ve known. However...” He glanced coldly at Steven and sneered. “It‘s not too late yet.” With that, he reached his hand out toward Steven. “We meet again, Mr. Hughes.”
Steven had no idea what Joshua and Kate were talking about, but when he saw Joshua extending his hand toward him, he shook it nonetheless. “Nice to meet you again.”
After all, Joshua was Thomas‘ advisor, and as Thomas‘ business partner, Steven knew better than to get on Joshua‘s bad side.
Joshua froze momentarily when he met Steven‘s clear gaze.
A split second later, he let go of Steven‘s hand and strode away.
“What was Mr. Lynch doing at your house?” Steven turned to shoot Kate a puzzled look as soon as Joshua disappeared.
“Father.” Kate strode toward her father, smiling as she held onto Steven‘s arm. “What did Mr. Lynch talk to you about just now?” Mr. Miller was silent for a long time before finally breaking into a sheepish smile. “Nothing. Mr. Lynch was so kind as to help me analyze the financial data regarding Miller Group and helped me predict the financial challenges that would come our way....”
He had grown up in a well–protected family, and on top of that, he had been in a coma for five years. Therefore, even though he looked close to thirty, his mind was still that of a young man in his early twenties.
Mr. Miller glanced first at Steven, then at Kate, and finally smiled. “That‘s right. Mr. Lynch...is a very nice man.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
