Chapter 2687
In fact, the Miller family contacted Rachel, too. At that time, Rachel was too proud of herself that when the Miller family wanted to sponsor her, they were giving her an expression that they were doing her a favor. Thus, she rejected them.
Over time, the Miller family finally knew they had crossed Rachel unintentionally. Thus, they went to look for her personally in hopes she could help to save Steven. Alas, Rachel had already had a bad impression of the Miller family and declined.
The reason she was willing to come to Saigen City to treat Steven this time was because she saw Steven’s profile and thought he looked identical to Luke. As Gwen’s friend, she felt compelled to come and observe the situation first–hand. Hence, she decided to fly in immediately.
“The doctors from my fiancee’s family had consulted me once,” Steven answered while bringing Rachel to the car park. He smiled. “They said I was under a lot of stress, so they gave me some medicines to release my stress. That’s all.”
They reached Steven’s car at this point. He unlocked the car and opened the door for Rachel to get in. “I just think there should be a reason why I keep having the same nightmares. Since the Millers can’t help me, I can only seek help from someone else.”
Rachel squinted. “I recalled that bit from your email. You said the Miller family was the one who rescued you.”
“Yes.” Steven nodded. “I’ve been unconscious for five years, and during those five years, my fiancee remained steadfast in all things. She tried to find all sorts of ways to wake me up. I’m grateful to her, as well as the medical team behind her family.”
This time, Rachel looked at him with many thoughts running in her mind. She was near to figuring out what could have triggered the symptoms Steven had. The Miller family was very reputable in the medical profession. A long time ago, Rachel once heard the Miller family had been funding many medical organizations that were researching and studying the restructuring of the human brain.
This man in front of her…could be one of their works.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
