Chapter 2715 Kate stared at Steven with a stupefied expression as she fell silent for a good while. Then, she bit her lip, and her voice sounded vague. “Steven, what nonsense are you talking about? I‘ve always loved you. When did I –“.
“Is that so?” interjected Steven, his voice cold. “Kate, before my coma, and even before I had the accident, you and I have never met. We were only bound by the marriage agreement. When I woke up, people told me you are my girlfriend, my fiancee, and that you‘d done many things for me. While I was touched, I was surprised too. After all, I don‘t remember us knowing each other. More importantly, I don‘t remember any promises that we made before.
“The first time we met should be after I had my accident. You keep saying that you love me, but why do you do so? Because you had one look at me after I was in a vegetative state. Were you attracted to my body so much that you‘d do anything to get me?
“Maybe there is such a love in this world, but this is obviously not the case between you and me. Every time when you look at me, I feel that you‘re looking at another person. Your look tells me that it isn‘t me that you are looking at.”
Kate bit her lip vehemently and shook her head. “No, that‘s not it.”
She reached out her hand to grab Steven‘s hand, her voice quivering as she pleaded, “Steven, that‘s not it! I love you. It‘s you that I love! Why would I do all those things if I don‘t love you? If I loved Luke, why would I turn Luke into you? I can just give your heart to Gwen and be together with Luke, can I?”
“No, you can‘t.” Steven looked at her with a pair of calm eyes. “Because Luke doesn‘t like you. You know that no matter what you do for Luke, he‘d never like you. Just to own Luke, you turned him into me.”
“However, I finally understand now after knowing that I‘m actually Luke. You like me because you think of me as a replacement.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
