Chapter 2720 The Hughes family was truly grateful to Kate for waking up Steven, and when they heard Kate mentioning it again, Steven‘s parents exchanged looks with each other. Eventually, Mrs. Hughes walked toward Kate and held her hands closely. “Kate, I know you‘re upset. I think Steven is just not in his right mind now because of that b*tch. Don‘t you worry, though, because we‘re on your side. We‘ll make him change his mind. He won‘t break up with you.” Mr. Hughes nodded vehemently. “That‘s right, Kate. Don‘t feel sad. As long as we are still alive, you are the only daughter–in–law we approve of!” Kate pursed her lips and stopped crying. “Thank you, Mr. Hughes. Thank you, Mrs. Hughes.” “Sweet girl.” Mrs. Hughes was relieved to see Kate stop crying. She held Kate‘s hand and wanted to bring her to look for Steven together.
“Nevermind.” Kate sniffed, her voice croaky due to her crying. “You should all go without me. I don‘t think I should go. I‘m...sure he doesn‘t want to see me.” She withdrew her hand and sighed sadly. “After I knew Steven jumped out the window and ran away from home, I had been searching for him. It‘s already afternoon. My parents are still worried about him, so I need to go home and comfort them. Steven... If there‘s any problem with him, please contact me anytime.”
Then, she bowed politely at Steven‘s parents and left. The Hughes family merely watched as Kate walked away. “Kate is such a good person.” Denise sighed and secretly clenched her hands into fists.” Dad, Mom, you two go ahead and visit Steven first. I want to look into the woman who seduces him!”
Her parents exchanged looks with each other and said with a smile, “Denise, we won‘t stop you from looking into that woman. However, you have to remember you‘re no match for Joshua. Don‘t act recklessly. Remember to come to discuss with her once you have gotten any information. Okay?” Denise pursed her lips and nodded. “I understand.”
She turned and headed to the door to leave the hospital. As she reached the entrance, she saw Kate getting in a taxi. However, the driver was not driving toward Kate‘s house.
It went in the opposite direction in the west.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
