Chapter 2733 A red handprint immediately appeared on Yannie‘s swollen face. Yannie bit her lip and held her swollen, painful cheek with one hand as she glanced at Thomas, who was pinned to the floor.
She opened her mouth, intending to say something, but could not help feeling that nothing she could say would be right.
Finally, she bit her lip, slid her other hand into her pocket, and surreptitiously dialed her emergency contact.
She had two emergency contacts; one was Thomas, and the other was her mother , Mrs. Flores. Since she could not accurately dial Luna‘s number for help without looking at her phone, she had no choice but to call Mrs. Flores instead.
Soon, her phone vibrated in her pocket, indicating that Mrs. Flores had picked up the call.
Yannie bit her lip and got onto both knees. “Senior Howard, Mrs. Howard, Thomas hadn‘t meant to do any of this! When he brought me along to Howard Mansion, all he intended to do was to have a civilized conversation as a family, but he never thought that Mrs. Howard would try to threaten us under the pretense of inviting us over for a
family lunch...
“We never meant to hurt Senior Howard. Please let Thomas go; he didn‘t mean to do this!”
Senior Howard furrowed his brow when he heard this. With his hand still on his abdomen, he glanced dubiously at Thomas and Yannie, then at Tina. Finally, he said feebly, “What is going on?” Could Tina have been the one who summoned Thomas and Yannie here to repair their broken relationship?
“Don‘t listen to her!” Tina narrowed her eyes, shot Yannie a murderous glare, then glanced at the guards.” Keep Thomas locked in the guest bedroom; we‘ll decide what to do with him as soon as Senior Howard gets better!
Then, she gave Denise a meaningful look and added,” Keep an eye on them, Denise!”
As soon as she finished her sentence, the sound of sirens echoed from outside the house.
Tina and the servants quickly brought Senior Howard into the ambulance, and soon, the ambulance departed toward the hospital.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
