Chapter 2752” . Luna paused for a moment, then nodded. “Alright. Send me an email with the audio recordings, and I‘ll listen to them right now.” She then hung up the phone. As she did this, Luna glanced out the window and realized that the sun had already set.
She and Gwen had been sitting there for more than five hours. “Did they find out anything through the recording device?” Gwen asked, frowning Luna nodded. “When did you even place it on Steven, anyway?” Gwen sniffed, picked up a tissue from the table, and wiped her tear
–stained face. “I planted it there when I was hugging him.” Even though Gwen had temporarily lost all her rationality that moment, she still remembered her task, so she slipped the recording device into Steven‘s back pocket while embracing him.
Even though she was unsure of Steven‘s habits, she still remembered that Luke never used to check his back pockets. Therefore, she gambled her chances and assumed that Steven was the same.
It seemed that she had guessed correctly.
“I‘ve asked Nigel and Neil to send the audio clips over.” Luna stood up. “Do you want to listen to them together?”
Gwen nodded. She wanted to stand up as well, but because she had remained seated for too long, her legs had fallen asleep, and she could not even move.
“Look at you.” Luna sighed and reached out to help Gwen up, and the two of them shuffled into Luna‘s bedroom.
When they entered the door, however, they both froze in surprise when they caught sight of the restrained woman on the bed. Luna and Gwen exchanged a glance, then smiled wryly in unison.
They forgot about Denise.
At this moment, Denise‘s hands and feet were tied, and her mouth was gagged, but her eyes were closed...as though she were asleep.
Gwen strode over and gently placed her finger under Denise‘s nostrils. “She‘s still breathing. She probably just fell asleep.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
