Chapter 2761
Yannie’s entire body froze when she heard this.
She quickly hung up the phone and turned around.
Thomas was standing behind her in his usual clothes, frowning.
Due to the drug’s effects, Thomas looked frailer than usual, and his face was as pale as a sheet of paper. Despite this, his eyes were filled with worry and concern. “Who were you talking to? Who disrespected you? Is it Luna or Joshua?”
Yannie’s heart lurched at this. She bit her lip and shook her head. “Nothing.”
With that, she reached out to grab hold of Thomas‘ hand. “Let’s go. We need to…go visit your father quickly.”
Thomas furrowed his brow. He turned her around so that he was clasping her hand and pulled her into his arms. Yannie, you’re the love of my life, and I won’t let anyone
harm you.
“I
“You don’t have to hide anything from me. If Luna or Joshua were being unfair to you or tried to hurt you, you have to tell me, and I’ll always be on your side.”

Then, he lowered his head and gently pinched her nose. You’re Riley’s mother–the mother of my child and my
future wife. Who else will be on your side if not me?”
Yannie suddenly felt like crying at this. She bit her lip, nodded, trying to stop her tears from falling, and removed herself from his arms. “Let’s go.”
Thomas was a little annoyed by how reluctant she seemed to be close to him. He furrowed his brow and pulled her into his embrace once more. “What’s wrong, Yannie?”
He did not recall ever upsetting her, and judging from her conversation on the phone, he was not the one who had disrespected her, so why was she behaving so hostilely?
Did he do anything wrong?
He did not even sleep with Denise while they were at Howard Mansion, so why was Yannie so upset?
“Nothing.” Yannie bit her lip, removed Thomas‘ arm from her waist, and then said, “I just think we should get to your father’s as soon as possible.
“Mr. Lynch called just now saying that your father has just woken up, and if we don’t get there soon, your stepmother might start telling him lies about you.”
Then, she turned and strode towards the elevator.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
