Chapter 2772 As Luna grasped the phone tightly in her hand, her eyebrows were pressed into a firm line. She had assumed that Thomas would come find her because of Yannie but never expected it to be so soon.
It had been less than 24 hours after the incident happened, and she had been busy dealing with Denise and her family. There was no time for her to think about how to explain it to
Thomas if he asked.
The moment was here, yet she could only bite her lip and made it up as it went. “Why do you think so? Yannie... Is there anything wrong with her?” Thomas furrowed his brow slightly upon hearing Luna hesitating. He grasped his phone tighter and replied in a deep voice, “Something‘s wrong with her. Luna, I know you and Yannie are best friends. The only one she trusted other than her mother is you. So, I‘d like to ask what‘s going on. Previously...”
He closed his eyes and thought back to the time when Tina and Denise had drugged him when they were at Howard Mansion. “Was it...” He hesitated and said the thing he was unwilling to accept, “Was it Denise who helped me detoxify the substance, and not Yannie?”
It shocked Luna to see how sensitive and clear Thomas‘ mind was. Her jaw hung open widely, yet not a sound came out of her even though she thought of saying something.
Perhaps she had underestimated Thomas. He was Joshua‘s cousin, so he must have the same alertness and sensitivity as Joshua did. He could presume the problem based on Yannie‘s attitude and her words.
She knew it was impossible to hide it from Thomas, and with him guessing right, it was useless for her to continue lying. The smart man was never going to believe her just because she made up a story. Thus, she tried to calm Thomas‘ emotions after a deep breath. “Joshua said your father‘s condition is quite severe. Before you are completely in control of the Howard Group and your family‘s wealth, you shouldn’t be sidetracked on this issue, so-”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
